Tell us about yourself.
My name is Dimitrios Tade, I am 31 year old, artist.
I live and work in Athens, Greece.
Where did your passion for art begin?
I have always been passionate about art, and I've always painted, since I was a child. From a young age I admired my uncle's art, who is an artist as well.

How would you describe your work to someone?
I would describe my artwork as love stains on a canvas.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently working on something new, based on the same style I have but with the addition of human figures.

When you start a new work or project, do you plan what you’re going to create or do you improvise?
Before I start working on a canvas, I do some sketches on paper for the basic idea. Then, when I start working on the canvas I mostly improvise, because I like it more than an organised plan as that way many ideas and additions appear on the spot.
Can you highlight some of your influences and discuss how your influences have made an impact on you and your practice?
My main influences were Joe Bradley and Sterling Ruby. I liked their technique and their work motivated me to start working on abstract art.

What are your plans for the remainder of this year?
My plan for the remainder of this year is to work on the new project I just started which is in progress and includes sculptures.
